Muslim Revert Network - Supporting new Muslims
If you are a new Muslim, a Muslim coming back to your deen or interested in Islam, there are various resources available in the Brisbane area to help you.
Mosques (masaajid in Arabic) are the first point of call for new Muslims or people interested in becoming Muslim. All Mosques have madrassahs (religious schools) where you can learn to read the Qur’an in Arabic. Included below are some of the other active Islamic Centres.

A good place to start as it is a very popular multicultural masjid in the most populous Muslim area in south east Queensland. The Da’wah Department offers support for new Muslims.

United Muslims of Brisbane (UMB)
An Islamic centre primarily for the youth, attended by a large number of revert Muslim brothers. The centre has a small Islamic library.

Located in Runcorn, they offer support, education, advocacy & counselling services for New Muslim sisters.
